This poem directly relates my mind to the Independence of India which had taken place on the 15th of August. During this period India was under the British rule suffering and struggling towards freedom and only because of our courageous freedom fighters India is now independent and has its own freedom. Mahatma Gandhi was one of our main freedom fighters.He was firmly founded upon non violence and wanted to drive away the English using nothing but truth. He fought courageously using his heart and not his strength. He organized protests by the indians fighting for our nations freedom which eventually drove away the English! His truth and non violence has gone famous world wide and he is now respected by all.
